I spent 7 years teaching in elementary schools, 6 years preparing undergraduates to teach, and 4 years as an instructional coach. Now, for the first time in 34 years, I don’t have my own first day of school marked on the calendar.
This year, I’m following a dream I’ve had since I was little. I’ve been writing fiction, publishing short stories and working on my first middle grade historical fiction novel.
